OVER 80 YRS…Broker experience as “YOUR INSURANCE SHOPPER” for “INSURANCE THAT FITS”
| 1927… | Crawford & Danyluk was started by Dan Crawford as both a life and general insurance agent in Delaware Ontario. |
| After 1945… | Dan’s son Donald (Sandy) joined the business and subsequently purchased the business from his father. |
| 1967… | Donald’s son Larry joined his Dad in the business. |
| 1973… | Larry’s younger sister Patty started in the business. |
| 1984… | Patty & longtime friend Dan Danyluk became partners with Larry. |
| 1986… | The name was changed to Crawford & Danyluk to reflect the new partnership. |
| 1989… | Patty, Larry and Dan needed more room, so they purchased a building that had been a hardware store to become their new Insurance Broker office. This building remains as Crawford & Danyluk Insurance to this day. |
| 1990… | Crawford & Danyluk purchased John McNeil’s Brokerage in Dutton Ontario. The Dutton office is still called “McNeil Insurance Brokerage” |
| 1995… | Crawford & Danyluk added a third office and became 50% partners with Noreen Phillips in McTaggart Armstrong Dewar & Owen Insurance in Aylmer. |
| 2005… | Crawford & Danyluk added yet a fourth office when they purchased Paul Gangle’s Brokerage, PJ Gangle Insurance, in West Lorne. |
| In the spring of 2005 The McTaggart Armstrong office in Aylmer moved into a remodeled Beckers convenience store that now offers street level access, free parking and a more comfortable environment. | |
| 2006… | a new computer system was installed in all 4 offices allowing for much faster and easier client service. |
Our staff are very active in each of their communities, belonging to and supporting schools, minor sports, town projects, senior’s events and all health related charities.
